Chamber of Commerce welcomes you to the Squam
Lakes, boasting some of the most pristine bodies of water
in the lakes region. With this website, we hope to share
with you all that our area has to offer.
The Squam Lakes consists of three bodies of water, Big
Squam Lake, Little Squam Lake and White Oak Pond and offers
visitors a peaceful spot to make vacation memories to last
a lifetime.
What
to do? Take in the sites of the lakes
on a guided tour boat, explore the natural world at
the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, paddle around
in a kayak or canoe or visit the shops featuring antiques,
artisans wares and local specialties. Whatever you
choose to do, relish the natural beauty and charm of
the Squam Lakes area.
Where
to stay? The choice is wide – from
an historic bed and breakfast, to a luxurious, full-service
inn or resort, to a campsite on the lake. For a longer
stay, private home, cottage and cabin rentals are available
on and off the lakes. Well-preserved motels are also
available offering a relaxed affordable vacation spot.

to eat? Your choices are many! Whether
for an informal meal and ice cream cone, or casual
dining on the lake or gourmet fare in an historic setting,
there is something for everyone.
